SLMC Internship Digital Evaluation System

Guidelines for Supervisory Consultants

The SLMC Internship Digital Evaluation System enables Supervisory Consultants to complete and manage the required evaluations and assessments of Intern Medical Officers assigned to them.

The system provides a structured online process for reviewing intern performance, submitting progress assessments, providing feedback, and monitoring evaluation status.

Access to the System

If you are an Internship Supervisor / Supervisory Consultant, SLMC will provide your username and password to the email address registered with the Sri Lanka Medical Council.

Please use the credentials provided by SLMC to access the system.

If you have not received your credentials or experience a login issue, please contact the SLMC IT Support Team.

What You Can Do Through the System

As a Supervisory Consultant, you can:

  1. View Intern Medical Officers assigned to you.
  2. Review relevant intern information.
  3. Review the internship period and assigned speciality.
  4. Assess the performance of assigned interns.
  5. Complete required Progress Report Assessments.
  6. Provide comments, feedback, and recommendations.
  7. Submit completed evaluations through the system.
  8. Monitor submitted and pending evaluations.
  9. Review relevant evaluation information throughout the internship period.
  10. Receive important notifications and updates relating to your internship.
Reviewing an Intern

Before completing an evaluation, please ensure that you have selected the correct Intern Medical Officer.

Review the relevant internship information before entering your assessment.

Please ensure that your evaluation:

  • Relates to the correct intern.
  • Covers the relevant internship period.
  • Is completed accurately.
  • Includes appropriate comments or recommendations where required.
  • Is submitted only after all required information has been completed.

For hospital assignment, supervisor assignment, or internship workflow matters, please contact your Hospital Director.

Submitting an Evaluation

Once you have completed the relevant evaluation:

  1. Review all information entered.
  2. Ensure that the assessment is complete.
  3. Provide required comments or recommendations.
  4. Submit the evaluation through the system.
  5. Confirm that the submission status has been updated successfully.

Please note that evaluations should be submitted within the required period.
